More from the Third Annual Medicaid Congress

Peter Harbage, Senior Program Associate, New American Foundation and Senior Fellow, Center for American Progress, delivered a comprehensive assessment of the demise of California's Universal Healthcare Coverage Efforts.
Intense negotiations between the Governor and democratic leaders resulted in compromise legislation that the majority of Californians favored. In spite of this, the bill was killed in the State Senate's Health Committee.
