Call Your State Reps! Let's Really Share the Pain!

Call State Leaders TUESDAY: Tell Them True Shared Sacrifice Means All Californians "Share the Pain" of the Budget Crisis!

Throughout this week, our legislative allies are pushing a budget solution that shares the pain of this budget year with big oil and tobacco companies. Let's be clear - This budget is painful, but at least it recognizes that we can't close our budget gap on cuts alone and solely on the backs of our children, our seniors and our disabled. It's sad that the Governor has ignored our pleas - we hope the Legislature continue to send him responsible budget after responsible budget. Maybe then, he'll compromise.

Tell Our Allies Supporting Shared Sacrifice: Stand Strong! Don't cave in to those who would sacrifice our children, our seniors and our disabled to protect big oil and tobacco companies.

Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg (D) 916-651-4006
Assembly Speaker Karen Bass (D) 916-319-2047

Tell The Governor and All Those Blocking a Shared Sacrifice Solution: Shared sacrifice means that all Californians have to sacrifice - including big oil and tobacco companies. We can't close our budget gap on cuts alone and solely on the backs of our children, our seniors and our disabled.

Governor Schwarzenegger 916-445-2841

Got time for more calls? Call legislators who are blocking a shared sacrifice budget solution.
